my first ever entry

WELL I HAVE TO START WITH THE AGE OLD FAVOURITE TEETHING. ANYONE WHO IS ANYONE MUST USE CALPOL, BUT TO TAKE DOWN SWELLING, CALPRUFEN AS ITS IBUPROFEN. ANYTHING MAJORLY FROZEN IS A WONDER AND THOSE GEL FILLED TOYS, FREEZE THEM TOO. THEY LOVE THEM ON THEIR AWFUL FLAMING GUMS. ANOTHER LIFE SAVER, MIND THE FISHY BREATH IN THE MORNING IS CALGEL FROM ANY SUPERMARKET OR PHARMACY. AND TEETHA, SOMETHING I GOT TOLD ABOUT FROM ANOTHER MUM TO CALM AND SOOTHE AT ANY TIME OF AGRIVATION LIKE IN THE EVENING AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. OF COURSE A SOOTHING HUG IS ALWAYS BEST. OOOH ANOTHER THING SOPHIE THE GIRAFFE IS A WONDER TOO OR A SOOTHING BLANKET TO CHEW.

  2. I would like to recommend in the absence of any frozen toy or medicine is to simply run your finger under the cold tap for a minute to cool it down, and then rub on their gums firmly. Of course, they'll probably start biting down on your finger but I suppose that is soothing too..... and if they don't have any teeth through yet isn't painful :D

  3. Calgel works wonders for Leon's little gums in the night- it helps him get to sleep I think... haven't noticed the fishy breath in the morning!
He also loves those Bickipegs that you can get from Boots etc they look like dog biscuits but they love it!
